how to install youtube widget in lollipop.
what you need:
- root explorer (with rooted device)
- youtube apk version 5.2.27 (lastest with widget)
installation:
- go to app info of youtube ( setting>apps> swip right X2 )
remove update and force stop
- backup current version of youtube(system/app) to somewhere else
- grap a copy of youtube apk(ver 5.2.27)
copy it to system/app (change permission to r/w)
from here I tried installing youtube but failed.(not sure it would affect the output)
turn off device(holddown power button a while)
reboot device ( it will update 1 app)
once it is done, youtube version will be changed to 5.9.0.13
but widget will be available. yeah~
